Are you a financial professional willing to contribute 2-5 hours per month on average to support Brookline Village’s own Puppet Showplace Theater in our 50th anniversary season and beyond? Puppet Showplace seeks to grow our Finance Committee by adding 1-3 new members by June 2024. The Finance Committee is tasked with stewarding the theater’s financial health, including analysis, advice, strategic visioning and oversight of the organization’s budget, cash flow and financial position. Members of the Finance Committee hold less responsibility and time commitment compared with full members of the Board of Trustees, but take on more steady responsibility and make a more significant impact than is possible through occasional volunteer roles. Interested? Please email business@puppetshowplace.org to learn more about joining the Puppet Showplace Finance Committee! (To inquire about joining the Board of Trustees, please email board@puppetshowplace.org.) ABOUT PUPPET SHOWPLACE THEATER: Puppet Showplace Theater is New England’s home for puppetry arts, founded in 1974 by visionary educator and puppeteer Mary Churchill. We are dedicated to presenting outstanding professional puppetry to diverse audiences through performances, workshops, and community outreach. As we look toward our theater’s 50th anniversary in 2024, we envision a vibrant, welcoming, and culturally responsive puppetry center that inspires creativity and invites participation by people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
