Networking Forums

Members have independently formed regional and specialty area forums that are open to the entire membership of which no commitment is required on behalf of the attendees. For more information about the networking forums, please contact Jen Urquhart.

SOUTH SHORE FORUM
Chairperson: Millie Tobolsky, CPA
Format: Meets 3rd Thursday of each month from 7:15-9:30am.
Tax questions and stock market updates at each meeting.
Fee: $20.00 (There is a "Free Breakfast Coupon" drawing each month.)

CAPE COD " THE ISLANDS FORUM
Chairperson: John C. Henderson, CPA
Format: Meets 3rd Thursday of each month.
Fee: $20.00
Meetings are posted the Forum's Web site.

RTE 128 FORUM
Chairperson: Catherine Lapsley, CPA
Format: Meets 3rd Monday of each month.
Topics based on group demand, half tax related and half financial, insurance " practice management issues.
Fee: Yearly, of $150.

WORCESTER BREAKFAST FORUM
Chairperson: Robert C. Dwelly, CPA
Format: Meet 6-8 times per year for 8:30-10:30am breakfasts.
Topics based on group demand, half tax related and half financial, insurance " practice management issues.
Fee: $15.00

WESTERN MASS FORUM
Chairperson: Keith Purcell, CPA

HIGH TECHNOLOGY FORUM
Chairpersons: Rachel Hodis, CPA and Geoffrey Kent, CPA
Format: This forum is made up of financial professionals working for or providing services to high technology companies. This group meets monthly for networking and a presentation featuring a guest speaker on emerging issues of high technology companies in the areas of accounting, finance, tax and business operations.
Fee: $15.00

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS
Staff Liaisons: Kara Daszkiewicz and Mary Spinale
Format: Holds three-four networking events a year at local bars/restaurants and sporting events to provide a venue for our members to discuss current issues facing young professionals and to enhance the value of MSCPA membership for our future leaders.
Fee: Varies depending on event. Usually around $20 an event.
