PEER REVIEW ANNUAL FEE AND ENROLLMENT POLICY MASSACHUSETTS

All firms pay an annual fee based on firm size and whether or not an employee of the firm is a fellow member of the Society. Firms with no Society members pay an annual fee that is higher than the fee for a firm with a fellow member. In order to enroll, a firm pays an entry fee based on when their review is due, their firm size and whether or not an employee of the firm is a fellow member of the Society.

First time enrollees whose peer review is due in the current year will be billed the administrative fee and current year's annual fee. Those whose reviews fall after the current year will be billed for the annual fee in the general bill, which typically takes place in December.

If the year your review is due is 2012, 2013 or 2014 and you join the program now, you will pay an entry fee according to the schedule below:

*The entry fee for reviews due in 2012 includes an administrative fee. For reviews due in 2013 and 2014, the administrative fee will be invoiced as part of the scheduling process.

The schedule of fees for ongoing participation is below. Membership in the Society in a continuous manner is encouraged and will reduce the cost of your annual Peer Review Fee in the future.

The Peer Review Program is operated by the Society as a service for MSCPA members. Member volunteers staff the Peer Review Acceptance Board and Executive Committees and annual fees of the Peer Review program cover part of the program costs.
