Financial Professional Placement Program
As a result of legislative change at both the federal and state levels, the financial expertise of a CPA is now more than ever, a necessity. The federal government, through the SEC and PCAOB, regulates publicly-held companies to ensure effective governance, and at the state level, the Attorney General is proposing stricter rules for governing charities, including requiring public charities with revenue over $500,000 to have an audit committee consisting of independent board members.
The MSCPA has implemented the Financial Professional Placement Program to link Massachusetts CPAs with public companies and non-profit organizations looking for financial experts to serve on their audit committees or Board of Directors. Interested CPAs will receive your submission by e-mail and will respond to you directly with their qualifications.
