Develop business presentation skills for co-workers, clients and partners. We’ll discuss personality styles and demonstrate the different ways to communicate information to them, as well as examine how recognizing personality style(s) can turn communication breakdowns into breakthroughs and review the three types of misconceptions of communication. We’ll also identify the different types of personality styles in the workplace and recognize how to communicate with the different types of personality styles effectively.
Develop your professional (and virtual) presence and personal branding. You’ll learn how to be perceived as high potential by understanding the key elements of personal branding, professional behavior and virtual presence. You’ll also review the five factors shaping your professional image and analyze how to implement techniques for improving your virtual presence.
Learn how to listen to, accept, respond to, act on and give constructive feedback. We’ll provide strategies to accept feedback graciously, and provide non-offensive feedback and constructive criticism that encourages the person to work on their opportunities with enthusiasm and empowerment. We’ll also identify the three types of feedback and when to use each, distinguish the barriers and blind spots in receiving feedback and recognize how emotions turn feedback into a battle.
We’ll examine critical thinking tools and skills to enhance decision-making and learn how to establish the critical-thinking mindset. We’ll also identify the key elements of critical thinking and learn how to apply a decision-making framework.
Discuss how to develop and maintain a professional network. You’ll learn how to develop effective networking skills and how to connect with different audience demographics and personality styles. You’ll also observe how building long-term connections can assist you in launching new ideas or plans, develop new business and clients, reduce costs in recruiting and how it can leverage your career.
Understand the relationship between scope, time and cost and learn how to effectively deliver a project on time and master your time management skills. We’ll explain how to effectively deliver a project on time and how to apply personal time management skills. We’ll also identify the three elements of the project management process, recall the five groups of process management and examine time management techniques that increases effectiveness.
