James Bourke

Nate Coughran

Nate is the lead instructor at BostonExcel and oversees content development. His teaching style has been described as energetic, passionate, and entertaining. Prior to BostonExcel, Nate worked as an Acquisitions Senior Associate at Gladstone Commercial, a publicly traded REIT, where he focused on underwriting commercial property acquisitions. Prior to Gladstone, Nate worked as an Acquisitions Analyst for the RMR Group, a manager of 4 publicly traded REITs, and as an auditor for Ernst & Young where he focused on the banking and capital markets industry. Nate earned an MS in Finance & Accounting from Boston College and a BS in Business Management from Brigham Young University–Idaho. Nate is a CPA with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Bryan Eberle

Jina Etienne

Jina Etienne is a Principal Consultant with EtiennePartners, a boutique consulting firm in Silver Spring, MD. More recently, she was President & CEO of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA) where she was responsible for strategic direction, stakeholder relationships and organizational priorities, including the execution of Vision2020, NABA’s 3-year strategic plan, strengthening existing and building new relationships with outside stakeholders and corporate partners, and managing the day-to-day operation of the Association and its staff. Before joining NABA, Jina was Director – Taxation, Tax Ethics & Professional Standards, AICPA Tax Section at the AICPA. She was responsible for developing guidance related to tax ethics and practice standards and led the team that developed resources and practice aids to support the technical and practice management needs of members offering tax services. She joined the AICPA after 17-years in private practice. Jina was founder and managing member of a boutique CPA firm that offered small- and medium-sized businesses a wide range of accounting, tax and consulting services. Ms. Etienne started her career in public accounting over 28 years ago with Touche Ross (now Deloitte). She has authored numerous articles on small firm practice management and taxation matters, and has been a regularly featured speaker at conferences and webcasts on tax practice management and tax practitioner ethics. She has served as an adjunct accounting professor at American University in its MBA program and as a speaker/trainer for a national CPE provider. She lives in Silver Spring with her husband, two sons and her dog Coda.

Ian Welham

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young, Ian Welham moved out of public practice and became CFO of a Barcelona-based publicly traded company.
