8:45am – 4:30pm

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the MSCPA has made the difficult decision to make our scheduled live seminars in 2020 virtual-only events. The topics, dates, times and CPE credits will remain the same, and you will learn from the same top-level speakers that you expected to see at our live programs

We start by demystifying the terms big data and data analytics before jumping into our statistics bootcamp (don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds) to learn the key analytics tools. Armed with these tools, we'll dive into a case study where we'll use various analytical tools to analyze our data, come up with hypotheses, and test our assumptions. We top everything off by learning how to present data using a dynamic dashboard. At completion, you'll know how to use analytical techniques to analyze data sets. Want to be the team rockstar? Learn to create dashboards! Dashboards are interactive tools that provide insights and analyses to users. This course will quickly teach you how to create amazing dashboards in Excel and Microsoft Power BI. After learning dashboard fundamentals in Excel, we'll supercharge your skills by teaching you Power BI. Power BI is Microsoft's free business intelligence tool that allows you to easily create interactive and powerful dashboards. At completion, you'll know how to make dynamic dashboards in both Excel and Power BI.
