The deadline to submit MSCPA Scholarship applications is less than three weeks away!
Last year, we were able to award $130,000 to worthy accounting students like yourself. We are happy to provide financial assistance to defray the costs associated with becoming a CPA – all you need to do is apply! We've recently restructured our scholarship program to increase the amount of our awards and are proud to be offering scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $10,000.
The deadline to apply is Monday, February 3.

"Your Next Step" Workshop Hosted by PwC – Registrations Are Now Open!

4:30 – 7:30 p.m. (Registrations begin at 4:00 p.m.)
Location:
PwC, 101 Seaport Blvd, Boston, MA
This special workshop, organized by the MSCPA and hosted by PwC, is designed for college students of all ages interested in learning about how to navigate their next steps towards becoming a CPA. Attendees will participate in panel discussions and breakout sessions to hear from current CPAs, young professionals, PwC staff and HR professionals on how to best prepare themselves for what is next in their CPA journey.
*Please Note: For the first time, we will be introducing a track for freshman and sophomore students to hear from PwC staff on the best things to focus on as underclassman to set themselves up for success.
The evening will close with a networking session, compliments of PwC, which will take place from 7:30 – 8:15 p.m.
| CPA Exam Voucher Lottery

In an effort to defray the costs associated with the CPA Exam, the Society will award Exam Vouchers in the amount of $500 to 20 lucky winners of our CPA Exam Voucher Lottery.
The deadline to apply is Monday, February 3.

| MSCPA 2020 Outstanding Educator of the Year Award
| Do you have a professor who has made an impact in your academic career? The MSCPA is now soliciting nominations for this year's Outstanding Accounting Educator Award. The purpose of the award is to recognize full-time college accounting educators who exhibit excellence in classroom teaching and active involvement in the accounting profession.
Please note that previous nominations will remain active for three years, unless we are informed that the candidate's application should be withdrawn from consideration.
The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, March 13.
| AICPA Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop

The AICPA Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop (ASLW) is an all-expenses-paid annual invitation program for minority accounting students who plan to pursue the CPA designation. This event aims to strengthen students' professional skills and understanding of the limitless possibilities of earning the CPA credential.
Date: Wednesday, May 13 – Friday, May 15
