CEO CORNER

Dear Hannah,

I recently met with our Small Firms Steering Committee to discuss revitalizing the Committee to better serve our members. One of the ideas that emerged was to survey small firms on tax season operations and issues so they can benchmark best practices. With this resource, small firms can make decisions to create a more successful practice (and hopefully, fewer headaches) during busy season.

The survey was launched earlier this week and will remain open until January 19. Data will be aggregated, and the results will be distributed to survey participants. To participate in this two-minute survey,
click here. Please note that this survey is intended for firms with fewer than 25 staff, and you must enter your contact information if you wish to receive the results.

I’m excited to develop this resource for our small firm members, and as always, I welcome your feedback. Aside from the weather, 2018 is off to a wonderful start!

Have a great weekend!
