They say once tax season is over, a new one begins, and the Society has designed our Federal Tax Camps to help you prepare for what's ahead. Offered in three locations and on broadcast, Tax Camp will bring back the ever-popular Sue Smith, CPA to help you navigate the most important legislative and regulatory developments of the season, as well as trends and changes in the case law. I hope to see you at one of the following locations:

Get Involved
Blockchain/Cryptocurrency Group: Your Input is Needed
If there is enough feedback from MSCPA members, the Society plans to create a group for members who work in the cryptocurrency and blockchain spaces. The format would depend on the interest level with possibilities including a virtual networking group and/or forming a new committee that would include an education/informative portion, advocacy component and professional networking. Please contact Jill Foley if you are interested.
Nonprofit Accounting & Auditing Committee Meeting (10/17)
Join us next Thursday at KLR's office in Waltham for a presentation on critical issues for endowments and foundations! The presentation will be led by Clare Golla, CFP®, managing director and head of endowment and foundation advisory services in Bernstein's Chicago office and Blake Poole, vice president and advisor in Bernstein's Boston office. They'll discuss current challenges such as political uncertainty, higher fiduciary expectations and projections of lower returns, and how to adapt accordingly to successfully navigate the future.
